There used to be a Jazz band playing Thursday nights which was very popular with local clientele, and some of the Thursday boys. Don't know why it stopped.

Not a good boozer if you like Guinness, as Vinnie (guest visitor) found out. Him, Mike Lau & Mike Parry were out savouring some of Alti's pubs one night. When we went into the shovels, both him & Mike Lau left in disgust at there being ONLY Sam Smiths products for sale. They waited outside for 30 minutes whilst Mike Parry thoroughly enjoyed 2 pints of foaming ale!
